Outbound.Social was in need of a logo and visual identity to help launch their service online.
The notion of conversation and speech reflects Outbound.Social values of real human engagement and connection. This effect also puts an emphasis on the importance of meaningful dialogue to grow social following. The choice of a rounded bold sans serif font is easily associated with comfort, confidence, and femininity, while setting the brand name in all lower-case lettering suggests a casual and humanized organization. The contrast between the filled-in “outbound” and the reversed-out “social” bubble creates a balanced and dynamic effect that can be applied to various graphic systems such as icons, titling, watermarking.
