Inspired by dazzle camouflage from WW1, the geometric patterns were used to create the illusion of three-dimensional shape in a striking and contemporary fashion. The idea of designing custom ‘razzle dazzle’ pattern was initially intended for vehicles and job boxes; but the notion of 3D form, fascination, and bold graphics all fit so well within the ASTOUND brand that the pattern has been adapted for apparel, ad campaigns, and office graphics.
